Christy pulled into Shanmar Racing Yard, attached to the back of her truck was a two horse trailer, holding her horse, Magic, she put her truck in park, turned it off, and slipped the keys into her pocket. She snatched her baseball cap from the passenger seat and settled it onto her head. She put her hand on the door handle, hesitating for a moment. C.K. scowled at herself and pushed the door open, hopping down from the truck. She stretched a bit, then headed toward the barn.
She peered down the barn aisle, a grin spreading across her features as she took a step in. Wandering farther into the barn she looked at every door she passed trying to find one that looked like someones office. She had come here to find a job, and was hoping that she would, though of course her head was swarming with reasons she shouldn't get the job. She barely knew anything about racing, she couldn't train horses, sure she could exercise them, and... Calm down, C.K. She thought to herself, taking in a deep breath, then letting it out slowly. You know plenty about horses, you love being around them, you can ride.. it'll be fine. Shaking her head Christy paused at a door she figured might be an office, she raised her hand to knock, hesitated, then tapped the door three times.
C.K. stepped back, so if the door opened out she wouldn't be hit in the face with it. Doubt filled her, and she wondered why she was so nervous about this. Trying to calm herself down she dusted off the knees of her jeans. Then played with her small ponytail while she waited. Her jagged cut hair was pulled back in a ponytail, and shoved under a baseball cap, little pieces fell down to the side of her face, she nervously shoved them away. She was wearing a plain black T-shirt, and a gray sweatshirt. Her jeans were old and faded, but comfortable, and she had on riding boots. Her normal attire, really.
