What had attracted him to such a place? Bars were not the place that you would expect to see him, there was too many people for his liking. Now if he would have been with Brian you could say otherwise since as long as he was with somebody that he trusted he was fine. Brian wasn't with him though and was at some type of get together he was the one who had suggested that he go out instead of staying home alone. Sure Brain had probably thought that he would just end up going to the park and staying there for awhile before returning to the farm. His light brown eyes looked at all of the people for a moment before sighing and returning to the auction booklet he was reading. He was just curious about what horses Brian was thinking about buying that was all. Already he could see that he didn't like certain lines. There was one that caught his eye though it was a stallion imported from England who was by Touch Gold. Brian was looking into buying a stallion? One called Matador none the less of course it did state that the horse had won a grade two race before winning a grade one in England.
Amazingly, his right leg wasn't bothering him at all. Of course he knew why that was. That morning he had went back to the doctors office for the third time that week and once again he had timidly asked Brian to go with him. People were not his favorite thing to deal with and he didn't like to be alone with some strange person. At the last visit the doctor had made a break though though and now he had a brace on his leg. It bothered him slightly since he wasn't used to it just yet but it seemed to be helping. Although the doctor had still talked about surgery, he didn't want that at all. He knew that there was a chance that it could make his leg better and he probably wouldn't have to put up with the pain like he did now. Surgery just was something that he never wanted to go through.
One would wonder why he was also at a bar and not drinking alcohol. There was a simple answer for that, his pain medication prohibited it. Not to mention he needed to drive back to the farm. It still felt odd that he actually had a vehicle, of course this was coming from somebody who hadn't gotten their drivers license until they were eighteen. But out of the blue about a week ago Brian had given him the keys to his old truck and told him to think of it as a belated birthday present. It felt so strange to have a person who actually cared about him in his life.
